In 2014 the Govan Graving Docks are one of the last remaining pieces of heritage from the industrial past of the Clyde. Plans have been written for commercial development of more of the ‘luxury’ apartments that already form a barrier between the city and the river.  A far better solution would be to use the site in a way that would allow open contact with the river and the heritage of the site.
