I’m an arts producer living in Glasgow, Scotland.

Currently I am the Programme Manager at Tramway, Glasgow, including programming the performing arts.

Amongst the organisations I have worked with as a photographer, artist or project director are the Royal Academy of Arts (RA) in London, NHS, the prison service, Amnesty International and Friends of the Earth. I have curated and designed exhibitions at the National Portrait Gallery and RA. I was Project Director for the RA Outreach team for three years. My photography has been published internationally including in Time, Geo and The Guardian and other UK national newspapers.

Since then I have consolidated my work as a writer and producer of performing arts. I founded the producing company me&him with David Jubb (now director of Battersea Arts Centre) and became the Associate Curator (Performance) at the Centre for Contemporary Arts on moving to Glasgow in 2003.

In Glasgow I have produced my own initiated work including ‘Standing Wave’ with the Tron and ‘Good Reason’, ‘My Dark Sky’, ‘Only the Men’, ‘Hannah and Harvey’ and ‘The Presents’ for national touring. I continued managing and producing arts projects for other organisations until taking up full-time work with tramway.

Please have a wander around this blog to see some of my work, or feel free to write for info about projects or commissions, or to just say ‘Hello’.
