About : Me
|
I’m a producer and artist living in Glasgow, Scotland. Currently I am Associate Producer at Tramway . I have just been the Project Director of The Barrowlands Project, the dance piece by Michael Clark that was the finale of the 2012 Olympics culture programme. Amongst the organisations I have worked with as a photographer, artist or project director are the Royal Academy of Arts (RA) in London, NHS, the prison service, Amnesty International and Friends of the Earth. I have curated and designed exhibitions at the National Portrait Gallery and RA. I was Project Director for the RA Outreach team for three years. My photography has been published internationally including in Time, Geo and The Guardian and other UK national newspapers. Since then I have consolidated my work as a writer and producer of performing arts. I founded the producing company me&him with David Jubb (now director of Battersea Arts Centre) and became the Associate Curator (Performance) at the Centre for Contemporary Arts on moving to Glasgow in 2003. In Glasgow I founded Reeling & Writhing with Co-Artistic Director Katherine Morley. Together we have continually produced work including ‘Standing Wave’ with the Tron and ‘Good Reason’, ‘My Dark Sky’, ‘Only the Men’ and ‘Hannah and Harvey’ for national touring. Education work is important to me, either in schools or with adult groups, and with Reeling & Writhing or a freelance artist. I am also the Specialist Adviser for performance for the Cultural Enterprise Office (Scotland). Please have a wander around this blog to see some of my work, or feel free to write for info about projects or commissions, or to just say ‘Hello’. . Tim mail[at]timnunn[dot]com . P.S. Sorry for the strange looking email address but it has to be done to avoid spammers finding it. Type it into your email as if you were reading it aloud (without saying ’square bracket’!). |
